Projects that we support

‘Do good and talk about it’ - this is the motto we follow and in this blog article we would therefore like to write about projects that we have been able to support as an agency for many years. As a team, we are wholeheartedly committed to supporting several charitable organisations. We are not only interested in providing benefits in kind, but also in actively supporting the realisation of projects that make a real difference. We would like to introduce you to two of our favourite projects: Aidshilfe Hamburg and Hamburg Pride e.V.

Support for Aidshilfe Hamburg

Aidshilfe Hamburg has been a valued partner for us at F7 for many years. Our collaboration goes back a long way and we are proud of the projects we have already implemented. One of the latest projects we would like to mention at this point is “Rainbow Age”. This is an initiative aimed specifically at older LGBTQIA+ people, giving them access to social services and advice. We were responsible for the initial setup of the multidomain system as well as the website design, which was based on the Aidshilfe design but included some individualization. In this way, we helped to ensure that communication and administration could run smoothly.

We also supported the Aidshilfe website relaunch in 2020 and developed the current design. Since then, we have kept the site up to date with regular TYPO3 updates - pro bono, of course. We are currently working on converting the site to comply with accessibility standards in order to make it accessible to more people.

Our support for Aidshilfe goes beyond technical assistance: our Managing Director Joachim is personally involved in the Board of Trustees of the Rainbow Foundation, which acts as a funding foundation for Aidshilfe. Through the Rainbow Foundation, valuable projects such as the Rainbow Age can be financed and secured in the long term.

Support for Hamburg Pride

We have been a proud supporter of Hamburg Pride for over ten years. For us at F7, promoting the values and goals of Christopher Street Day (CSD) is a matter close to our hearts. Together with Hamburg Pride, we are committed to equality and acceptance.

Every year, we support the organisation by providing the website, which we not only conceived and designed, but also regularly maintain and develop technically. This year, we have realised an important innovation: online registration for the parade. This makes registration and administration much easier, as it now runs digitally and all information can be stored and processed centrally.

We stay committed

Our commitment does not end here. As the F7 team, we are convinced that our work makes a positive difference - which is why we remain committed to our projects. We want to continue to support Aidshilfe, Hamburg Pride and many other important projects in the future. Be it financially, with technical assistance or strategic support. We are always open to new ideas that will help the organizations to advance their work.

An important step in our commitment to diversity and inclusion was the signing of the Diversity Charter (Charter der Vielfalt). This is our official commitment to a prejudice-free and respectful working environment that includes and promotes all people - regardless of gender, origin, age, religion, disability or sexual identity.

We look forward to continuing to do good - and to talking about it!
