TYPO3 recognized as Digital Public Good
TYPO3 has now been officially recognized as a “Digital Public Good” and thus joins a strong community - alongside well-known platforms such as Wikipedia, OpenStreetMap and Mastodon.
Digital public goods are digital products that are freely accessible, open source and geared towards the common good. They strengthen digital sovereignty, promote innovation and reduce dependencies - aspects that are becoming increasingly important not only for the public sector, but also for companies in the current global situation.
TYPO3 as Digital Public Good
The recognition by the Digital Public Goods Alliance (DPGA) highlights TYPO3 as one of the few CMSs that meet the strict criteria: It is open source, freely accessible, data protection compliant and technologically independent. The ratification not only strengthens the TYPO3 community, but also underlines the importance of the system as a sustainable, trustworthy solution.
Importance for our customers

But for companies, too, the decision in favor of Open Source has long been more than just a technical question: it is a strategic one!
