Year After Year

Some things return reliably. Christmas, for example. And with the run-up to the holidays come a few cherished rituals that, over time, naturally turn into traditions even if, strictly speaking, they are not all that old yet.

The F7 Christmas Party

For the second year in a row and thus almost a tradition by now, our Christmas party took place at the Atlas Wohnküche. With professional guidance, we cooked together and enjoyed a very relaxed evening as a team.

On the plates was a delicious three-course menu: prawns with braised ginger pumpkin and sesame cream to start, followed by veal cream goulash with spaetzle and colorful root vegetables. For dessert, marzipan pillows with apple compote and dark chocolate parfait. Of course, there were also vegetarian and vegan options and more than enough of everything.

Christmas Donation

One tradition that truly is firmly established at F7 is our decision to forgo gifts and Christmas cards. Instead, we donate. It simply feels more meaningful and suits us better.

As we could not decide on just one organization this year, we chose two from Hamburg:

Both organizations we support are based in Germany, and their websites are therefore available in German only. One of them focuses on wildlife protection and the rescue of hedgehogs in the Hamburg area. The other is dedicated to strengthening democratic values and civic engagement across Germany.

Through their work, they help strengthen responsibility, protection, and social cohesion – values we also actively embrace and promote at F7.

The Space Cookie Escalation

Cookies? Did someone say cookies? For once, this is not about data protection, consent management, or digital sovereignty, but about the legendary and definitely traditional space cookie baking session of Team Voyager. Butter biscuit space fighters battle their way through cinnamon star systems and vanilla crescent galaxy piles. In the end, all tins are full, Simon’s kitchen is not quite as clean anymore, and everyone is slightly sleep-deprived.

As always, we firmly promise ourselves that next year we will start earlier. And bake less. Definitely.

With that in mind, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year on behalf of the entire F7-Crew.
