Foundation
Initial Situation and Goal
The project was started as a relaunch project by another agency and was to be taken over and successfully completed by F7 in the short term in order to quickly bring urgently required features live and make them usable. The medium-term goal was to further develop the system in a stable and future-proof manner, to remove legacy issues and, above all, to optimize it for easy editorial use.
Challenges
Project takeover
Every agency has its own way of working. The first challenge was to review the current status, check it and adapt it to our processes in order to continue the project seamlessly.
Timing
As several features and security aspects had to be implemented quickly, a clear prioritization was required in order to implement the most important topics quickly and efficiently.
Multi-Stakeholder
The expansion to a multi-domain system required the coordination of many stakeholders and the clear definition of responsibilities in order to implement the project efficiently and on time.
Strategy
Expertise

Expertise
Thanks to our many years of collaboration with other agencies, the takeover of various projects and our expertise in setting up professional DevOps structures, hosting and TYPO3, we were able to quickly analyze and restructure the acquired system and migrate the workflows into our processes. The deployment was completely revised and tailored to the specific project requirements in order to achieve an optimal and long-term scalable solution.
Pragmatism & Perfection

Pragmatism & Perfection
At the beginning, the focus was on a fast go-live as a priority goal. In close coordination with the stakeholders, we prioritized the most important requirements and implemented them pragmatically, while more complex challenges were initially put on the back burner. Once this goal had been achieved, we concentrated on eliminating technical “debt” in order to make the system fit for the future in the long term - always with a balanced focus on efficiency, perfection and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements management

Requirements management
Multidomain systems in particular, with many stakeholders and therefore different requirements, quickly give rise to challenges and unnecessary complexity. We therefore formed a focused core team that took on requirements in a structured manner, checked them and released them for implementation after pre-qualification. This meant that requirements could be implemented efficiently and in a resource-saving manner.
Result

Result
In close cooperation with the Upstalsboomers, we successfully put the TYPO3 system online within a very short time. We also comprehensively modernized and optimized the multi-domain system so that the new websites not only meet current requirements, but also provide a stable and future-proof basis for successful further development in the long term.
Further Development

Further Development
Since go-live, new features have been continuously developed and successfully integrated into the system, such as user-friendly modules for easy maintenance of arrangements and events. In addition, the websites are continuously optimized in terms of visual design (UI) and user experience (UX).
